Welcome to ChatterBee™. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the ChatterBee™ mobile application and related services. By accessing or using ChatterBee™, you agree to these Terms.
1. About ChatterBee™
ChatterBee™ is a communication support application designed to assist children and adults with diverse communication needs. This includes individuals with autism, speech delays, developmental disabilities, acquired communication challenges, or anyone who benefits from visual, alternative, or augmentative communication tools.
ChatterBee™ may be used independently or with the support of parents, caregivers, educators, therapists, or other authorized individuals.
2. Eligibility and Account Responsibility
ChatterBee™ may be used by individuals of all ages. Accounts for children under the age of 13 must be created and managed by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized caregiver.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
ChatterBee™ offers both free and paid subscription options.
Paid subscriptions:
- Provide access to additional features or functionality
- Are billed through Apple App Store, Google Play, or other authorized third party payment processors
- Renew automatically unless canceled prior to the renewal date
Subscriptions may be managed or canceled through your app store account settings. Subscription fees are non refundable except as required by law or app store policies.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use ChatterBee™ only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with its intended use as a communication support tool.
You agree not to:
- Interfere with or disrupt app functionality
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
- Use the app to transmit harmful, abusive, or illegal content
- Reverse engineer or misuse app features or content
5. User Content
ChatterBee™ may allow users or caregivers to create, store, or customize communication content, preferences, or settings within the app.
You retain ownership of your content. By using ChatterBee™, you grant permission for the app to store and process this content solely for the purpose of providing app functionality and support.
6. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, content, design elements, and software associated with ChatterBee™ are owned by or licensed to ChatterBee™ and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
7. Privacy
Your use of ChatterBee™ is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
ChatterBee™ is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive to provide a reliable and supportive experience, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the app will meet every individual need.
ChatterBee™ is not a substitute for professional medical, therapeutic, or educational services.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChatterBee™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to ChatterBee™ if these Terms are violated or if required by law. You may stop using the app at any time.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Updates will be posted within the app or on our website with a revised effective date.
